Dear BLIND, Inc. former students,
One of the things that characterizes our former students is their mobility, especially their upward mobility. While the graduates of other training programs return for more training when they change jobs, ours move on and move up as they go throughout their lives. So this is a request for information about your current employment, or if you are in some form of higher education, what you are currently studying.
Why do we want this information? For multiple purposes:
- To provide to rehabilitation counselors who want to know what jobs our students get.
- To share via our blog and annual report (we will ask your permission first).
- For public education, to change the way people think about blindness.
- For current students who may be interested in your particular career.
We would appreciate it if you could send us a note letting us know about your current employment or education. Please send it to jgagnier@blindinc.org. If for some reason you do not want it published or shared with other students, please let us know also.
